About the Learn Without Limits CIC Blog
This blog is published by Learn Without Limits CIC, a Wales-based Community Interest Company supporting families navigating additional learning needs (ALN), health-related barriers to education, and alternative education pathways.
The blog exists to provide clear, practical, Wales-specific guidance for parents and carers who are often left trying to interpret complex systems under pressure.
We publish:
Plain English explanations of Welsh education law and guidance
Support for families dealing with attendance difficulties linked to health or disability
Information on ALN processes, IDPs, IHPs, EOTAS, and flexible education routes
Emergency updates affecting access to education in Wales
Lived experience reflections from parents, young people, and professionals
All content is written or commissioned with the realities of family life in mind. We prioritise accuracy, clarity, and usefulness over volume or opinion.
Who this blog is for
This blog is for families in Wales who are:
Supporting a child or young person with additional learning needs
Managing health conditions that affect school attendance or access
Exploring alternatives when mainstream education is not currently working
Looking for grounded, non-judgemental information rather than social media noise

⭐ How We Use AI to Support Our Work
As a small community interest company, we sometimes use trusted AI tools, or assistive technologies to help us draft and edit content so we that can publish guidance quickly when families need it. Every article is checked, reviewed and approved by a human before it goes live, and we never share personal or sensitive information with AI systems. Our work remains grounded in lived experience, Welsh law, and the realities families face.
